BostInno's State of Innovation brings together more than 1,000 business leaders and professionals in the technology industry and honored Lourdes German, Founder & Director of the Civic Innovation Project with an Alumni Impact Award, in recognition of her role fueling Boston's growth as a leader in innovation.
On International Women's Day, Mayor Martin J. Walsh announced the winners of the EXTRAordinary Women Award, led by the Mayor's Office of Women's Advancement. The campaign highlights women that do extraordinary work within the Boston community and Lourdes German, Founder & Director of the Civic Innovation Project, was selected as an honoree.
The Civic Innovation Project teamed up with the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy at Boston College to host “Governing in a Digital Age” - a joint program focused on issues related to innovation in governance around public records and open data.
Diversity and inclusion are critical underpinnings to the evolving culture at Microsoft and powerful bridges to the marketplace. In the spirit of International Women’s Day, Microsoft celebrated Lourdes German, and other women in the community who are carrying out the mission of civic engagement, leadership and empowering other women in the "Voices of Change" series.
