The Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys hosted its 2016 Annual Awards under the theme “Nurturing our Roots and Redefining our Tomorrow”. Lourdes German, founder of the Civic Innovation Project, was one of the honorees, presented with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award.

On September 30, 2015, The Civic Innovation Project joined over 1,200 civic innovators for the National Code for America Annual Summit in California for a session organized by Microsoft focused on Data Visualization.

The Civic Innovation Project teamed up with the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy at Boston College to host “Governing in a Digital Age” - a joint program focused on issues related to innovation in governance around public records and open data.
